We will be supporting Summer Lilly and helping her raise $1800 to participate in the Avon 3-Day for the cure in LA in September. She is our newest club member.

ARIZONA'S LONGEST YARD SALE

June 6th  7-am to noon.

held in the lot adjacent to Chamber.(old Hubbell building)

 

We will have a manned table of misc. items to sell to raise money for our walker.

 

an additional table for baked

goods.(will benefit HOBY)

 

Alice Graham will have a table to sell her new book.

 

Summer will have a table to promote a quilt raffle to benefit

breast cancer.

 

Lets get out there and promote this get all your neighbors involved,schools, churches. It's a $5 donation for the club and lots of free advertising for them.

 

We will review everything at the June meeting .

May's meeting will be held May 13th. St.Paul's Episcopal Church

600 W Henderson. 6PM. South sunday school classroom.Sign will be posted.

 

We completed all reports early.WHEW.The result of this fine effort can be reaped by the club by reviewing our convention

presence.

 

The State Convention was held from May 1-3 at Rio Rico Resort.

88 attendees including,Susan Lawler,Alice Graham and Elizabeth Wideman.Our club won

8-1st Places,2 -2ndplaces,1-3rd for our Scrapbook and 2 State Winners.(the scrapbook will be at the next meeting)

 

This accomplishment entailed efforts from all club members that resulted in 51 completed programs and projects, 3049 volunteer hours contributed and $13,485 in Donations and raised monies. This is an awesome accomplishments for all of Winslow.

 

HOBY winner will be posted and plans for summer reunion will be discussed at June meeting.

 

Any pictures, articles,flyers, or

announcements for June must be received by May 30th.

 

 

June meeting will be held on the 10th, 6pm also at St. Paul's.
